A battery that lasts days, not hours

If used more lightly, that figure can stretch to 18 days in power-saving mode. At the other extreme, with the Always On Display switched on, battery life drops to around 6 days: a fact that anyone who goes out training several times a week should bear in mind before buying. The Always On Display, which keeps the time visible without raising your wrist, uses additional battery and can noticeably cut into those 12 days of typical use. If battery life is your top priority, it is best to leave it turned off. At 26 g and with a light profile, wearing it all night to track your sleep is not bothersome, and the battery is not the bottleneck for that use.
A display that looks great even in the sun
The 1.85-inch AMOLED display reaches a maximum brightness of 1200 nits, enough to read notifications, workout data and the time in full sunlight without straining your eyes. The size makes it easy to see the text at a glance, also while exercising. With the Always On Display activated, the time is visible without any gesture; although, as noted above, activate it only if battery life is not your priority.
Over 140 sports modes
With over 140 sports modes, it covers running, cycling, swimming and the vast majority of common activities. The IP68 rating protects it from dust and accidental immersion up to 1.5 m for 30 minutes, but it is not equivalent to the 5 ATM resistance intended for swimming.
Calls and health from your wrist, without depending on your phone
The Redmi Watch 6 Active has a built-in microphone and speaker, so you can answer and make Bluetooth calls directly from your wrist without taking your phone out of your pocket. The heart rate and blood oxygen sensors work continuously: the watch monitors your heart, sleep and saturation without the user having to start anything. The metrics are indicative, useful for following trends and habits, but they have no clinical validity and do not replace a medical device. It works with iOS and any Android device.
