The universal polypropylene-based packaging tape tesa® 4089 is the ideal sealing solution for light boxes of up to approximately 20 kg. Whether it is used with a manual or an automatic dispenser, tesa® 4089 is easy to unwind and apply. It has great elasticity, with an elongation at break of 150%, which makes it extremely tear-resistant.
Thanks to its natural rubber adhesive, the tape bonds strongly to polar and non-polar surfaces, and has excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces, from paper and wood to plastic and aluminium foil. The tesa® 4089 packaging tape has a total thickness of 46 µm and consists of a PP backing with a thickness of 28 µm, combined with a natural rubber adhesive, a primer and a release coating.
